No one needs a $230 keyboard to talk to an agent. That's the wrong question.

The specs are boring. Mechanical switches. RGB lights that show agent state—thinking, running, waiting, done. A knob to adjust the model's "reasoning intensity." A joystick to navigate code review. Thirteen keys to trigger actions like refactoring or debugging.
Technically, there is zero innovation here. It's a macro pad with an OpenAI logo. The magic is all on the server side. The keyboard just sends API calls.
So why bother?
Because this is not a hardware play. This is a lock-in play.
I've audited over a dozen blockchain projects since 2017. The pattern is always the same. First, you build a useful software product. Then, you add a mechanism that makes it painful to leave. For ICOs, it was token vesting and founder lock-ups. For DeFi, it was liquidity mining rewards. For OpenAI, it's a physical keyboard plugged into your desk.
